I'm trying to remove XP Pro SP2 from the Add/Remove Programs and Close to the end of the uninstall it gives an Access Denied Error Message. Googling the error seems to only come up with issues referring to Install... Any Suggestions?

I started with windows XP home edition and then upgraded to windows XP professional. However, I am having issues with my computer and I would like to go back to windows home edition. How do I go about accomplishing this task? I still have my original home edition CD.

I am using RIS to deploy Windows XP Pro SP2 and all is working fine except when the system attempts to reboot after the text-mode portion of setup. At this point the screen goes dark but the system never turns off or otherwise restarts...it simply looks like the power saving ...

I am trying to set up my home pc to handle different people how ever with the new look of xp I am having problems setting up local user group so that I can assign permissions easily. The default groups either allow way to much or not enough access.
