Whats the consensus on creating a standard image for a pc, say xp pro sp2, office 2003 and a couple of other apps. In years gone by, I used ghost for this. Does this still work, is there any gotchas (tech&licensing)....how would you go about this

I have installed an application locally to a machine (logged on as Administrator). When I log back onto my network domain I cannot run the local application (it says access denied).!!! I have lots of local applications running (office) with no problems. Any suggestions?

Is there a suggested way to change the motherboard on an existing XP ssytem (without re-installing XP)? I guess what it boils down to is: how can I force XP to re-detect the hardware?
