Is it possible to change the security of registry keys via command line? In deploying certain applications I would like to go through and set security on particular keys in one swift swoop rather than log in as administrator and then open up registry editor. Any ideas?

I am running XP Pro and whenever I start the PC the volume setting for the Wave sound output is set to zero. I can easily increase the volume but how can I make it so that it is set to maximum whenever the PC starts or is there some script I could run on startup to set this volume.

i got strange problems with that: RIS on Windows 2003. Theres a flat image of Windows XP Volume License with no SP. I installed a client with it, everything works fine. I created a RIPREP image of that client and install it on a second workstation.
