Ok so heres the start of my problem. I bought a new oem copy of xp pro. I did a format to remove xp home. That went fine. Then when the copying of files begins all of these and sometimes some other files cannot be copied. Xptht12D.jpg, 15, 21, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, ...

I would like to buy a DVD from USA, but am worried it will not play on my computer. Is there a way to make it compatible. It is from Area 1 and I think most DVD players are for Area 4, but I don't know what Area, computers are compatable

We have a windows 2003 RIS server here that has been working ver well for us. Initially, we made a single windows XP Pro (w sp2) image that we used. Eventually, we added a couple additional SIF files to it using Risetup, which helped keep our various drivers from fighting.

I just bought a new SATA harddisk for my computer. In the beginning the installation of windows xp prof everything goes ok. I have my floppy with drivers for the harddisk and windows happily copies the installation files to my harddisk.
