I just got XP Pro and tries to t a clean install and now when I restart my
computer it asks me which operating system I want to use and both are Windows
XP Pro.  How did I do this and how do I set it up so that there is only one
instance of XP Pro on my computer.

I am upgrading my win98 to the xp home edition and when checking
software/hardware compatability the system stays at the dvd movie player. It

I've recently updated to XP Home Edition.
Over the last 2 weeks since I first installed XP, I've added  a 64meg video
card, 512 DDR memory, new modem, even a new sound card, mother board supports

I deleted my wifes account as she always logged on as me. XP asked me if I
wanted her files saved to a folder on my desktop. I said yes. It created a
folder but only saved picture files and folders (e.g.jpegs and gifs). She
really needs those files back. Any suggestions? HELP
