I just installed XP Home starting with a blank hard drive.  Everything went
well, but for one thing:  If I turn the computer off and let it sit for a few

I have two (2) hard drives. I have win XP Home installed on each drive. How
can I get both operating systems listed in the "default operating system"
list. My objective is to be able to Multi Boot. And to have the option
screen show up on start-up.

Recently my DVD-writer (gsa-4081b) has been acting up, and the only way to
get it to work on a reboot is to uninstall then reinstall the drive.

I've run into a little bit of a situation durring an install of OEM XP home
on a laptop.
This particular machine has a cd rom and floppy drive, however there is only
one bay that these can be used in ( only one drive at a time can be used ).

Everytime a new window pops up it seems to be a different size.  How do I
control the size of my windows?

i have xp pro and havent used the cd in a while and when i went to use it
some sand got into the sleave and scratched the cd to the point of not
working. is there any way i can get a replacement cd, or is there something

My XP home OEM version does not boot because of a corrupted sam file so
lsass.exe fails and I can't logon as an administrator to [R]ecover.

When I try to boot from the cd it checks my hardware configuration then
nothing happens.  It should then start loadtng drivers but nothing.  Is there
something I can do??

I am running RIS from a server 2003 sp2 box.
