I just upgraded an XP Home laptop to XP Pro to add it to our LAN running NT 4.0 but I cannot access the Domain. I have never had this problem before. Every time I try to add the domain the system tells me it cannot find a domain controller.

I am trying to find a way of deploying a logon screen saver. I have found a way of changing it on a single XP machine but want to deploy it to over 400. We are using 2003 Active Directory. Is there group policy that changes the screen saver when no one is logged on

I bought 7 licenses and installed xp pro and activated all of them. I have the COA sticker on the cases. The guy threw out all my cd's by mistake. Can I just burn a few copies? They were oem cd's.

I'm trying to upgrade 98 to XP Pro - after the first restart a message appears indicating that the file montmgr.sys is corrupt and the install fails. I can reboot to 98 but can't get past this point - any ideas?
