I just upgraded an XP Home laptop to XP Pro to add it to our LAN running NT
4.0 but I cannot access the Domain. I have never had this problem before.
Every time I try to add the domain the system tells me it cannot find a
domain controller.

I am trying to find a way of deploying a logon screen saver. I have found a
way of changing it on a single XP machine but want to deploy it to over 400.
We are using 2003 Active Directory. Is there group policy that changes the

I've Windows XP - SP2. I've changed the hard disk without use Sysprep tool,
and I've cloned it with Ghost. SID has been changed with GhostWalker utility.

I've been looking unsuccessfully for information on how to set WinXP Pro so
that Documents and Settings are on a hard drive other than the drive where XP

I was reformatting a hard drive and mistakenly used an XP set-up disk that I
don't have the key for.  I went through the formatting process and now I get
to installation and can't do anything. How can I at least get to a point

I'm trying to upgrade 98 to XP Pro - after the first
restart a message appears indicating that the file
montmgr.sys is corrupt and the install fails. I can reboot
