I have a PC controlling a process. In case of a power failure the PC shuts down and requires disk check at start up. I would like to have a UPS to support the pC in case of a power failue - and then have time to shut down in a normal fashion.

Hi I am trying to perform an unattended Win XP PRO SP2 install of a ghost image. I run setup manager and create my answer file. Put it in the sysprep folder under C:\, run sysprep, then chose reseal, shutdown.

When I boot up I do not get my opening screen as my desktop. Instead I get a System 32 screen. I then have to close this to reveal the desktop.

Hi, having installed Windows XP SP2 my USB modem v.92 56k no longer operates at 45Kbps and I'm lucky if I can get 33Kbps. Rolling back to SP1a or before solves the problem. I'm using the most current drivers for my modem (Zoom 3090 mini).
