i want to install xp on a laptop that only has 32M of memory. it's questionable whether the hardware will work so i don't want to upgrade the memory until i find out if i can install. is there a way to override the 64M memory requirement? thanks for any help

I am trying to load XP Pro SP2 onto a new system. The hard disk in a new Maxtor 200GB. The setup starts and goes through the copying files and then loading files and then goes right back to the beginning.

Everytime I start my computer, it looks to be goin fine then the desktop background loads but nothing else. All i can do is open task manager. When i try to do a system restore it crashes about a fifth of the way along. Any ideas???
