I can't seem to get to my desktop.  It keeps going to the black screen where
it asks me if I want to start it in Safe Mode, Networking, Dos, or normal.  
If I pick any of them it keeps going back to the same thing over and over

Recently I reformatted the hard drive on my notebook while installing XP home
