I want to test my backup system and was wondering what is the best way to
purposely corrupt the Windows XP OS?
I mean REALLY corrupt it - blue screen of death, hosed, no return...

I just bought a new harddrive and installed XP pro on it, with the idea of
moving my files from the old HD to the new one, then using the old one as a
drive to backup my files onto.
My problem is I can not access the old files. I am getting access errors and

Just reformatted and reinstalled Win XP HOME (not related to my recent
question about Win XP Pro), and now every boot up asks me to choose which OS

I'm using USMT 2.6 and have added the ; in front of every entries referring
to LNKMIG in migism.inf, but USMT are still saving the EXE file that the
