I am trying to upgrade from 98se to xp home but it gives me the error "The language of this installation of Windows differs from the one you are installing. The option to upgrade will not be available." Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this??

I had Windows Fax component installed in Win XP Pro. After I replaced my modem, when I clicked for the properties in the fax icon, it told me it could not connect to the remote server. I don't know why it would look for a remote server.
