Hi
I have two questions regarding setting up a couple of PC's.  - I am the
person who everybody thinks knows about PC's - but in reality I dont have
much of a clue - everyone has a friend like that!!!!

If I disable pagefile, do I risk only "out of memory" messages or similar?
Or do I risk disk corruption, possibly future reinstallation of o.s., etc?

I have a computer that was dual boot Ms-Dos/Win3.1 and Win98 and I have
installed Win XP Pro but I seem to have lost the MS-DOS windows 3.1 install
although the hidden system files in root directory are still there. I

I have just installed a dvd drive but windows isn't detecting it. I have got
it as a master and a second cd-rom drive as the slave. I have checked the dvd
drive on another computer so it is working properly. Is there something else

I am having difficulties with the new version of Sysprep 2.0 which shipped
with the new Windows XPSP2 CD-ROM (both OEM and Select-CD)  Every time I run
Sysprep 2.0 it said "the version of your current OS is incompatible with the
version of Sysprep".

I reinstalled XP SP2 because I got a missing or corrup System file upon
starting PC.
I replaced the system file with the system.sav file and ran a check disk and
