any one know what could cause xp to fail to display hardware profile selection
at initial bootup.

I need to use Sysprep to deploy an XP image to computers with
different IDE disk controllers. I run sysprep using the /BMSD switch
on the computer with the source image at it sits there forever and
gives me a "Grace Experation has expired error"

I had a harddisk crash, but I was able to copy it with ghost.  The problem is
after it boots I cannot logon on to it because its not the "C" drive Its the
"E" drive.  How can I change it to become the "C" drive??? Help!!!

windows xp home always use to fill my screen, now its four fifths filled (new

I had to reinstall Windows XP.  Before when I clicked shutdown, I got a
shutdown screen with three icons.  Now I'm getting a dialog box with tabs

Just installed a new hard drive ,now the computer does not see any USB
devices(web cam,digital camera,memory stick).when I plug in the memory stick
the light on the unit comes on but the computer does not see it at all.Have
SP1 and 2.

I assume regonal settings will still be editable.
