I Used Windows XP CD and SP2 CD to create an integrated installation source in c:\winxpsp2. Now i want to make a bootable CD from that. I tried to copy the contents of the c:\winxpsp2 to a blank CD ( using Nero ) and it won't boot.

i purchased a windows xp update a couple of years ago & used it, my old computer died so i got a compaq with xp installed already the motherboard just went bad, so i put it in a new bare bones system & it wouldn't boot to windows

I have 30+ laptops to manage. I somewhat frequently need to reinstall the OS from scratch. I have an OEM CD for XP that came with the computer, but I would like to just rely on one CD to make the installs, rather than keep track of 30+ CD's.

My hard drive is going bad so I'm trying to replace my 80gb drive with a 160gb drive formatted as 80x2. I backed the old up, but I'm hoping to temporarily install it as a slave and copy the settings & documents folders when I get xp up and running.
