I'm trying to deploy WinXP Using a RIS server (know to work for other machines) the only issue is that these new machines have the Embeded Intel Pro 10/100 and it gives me a message that the image does not have the supported drivers for it during the text portion of the set up.

We have been using the MS Software update Service (critical updates only) on our domain for some time. When trying to install the Windows Software Update Service, I have a number of problems getting it to run, and to this day, have not been successful.

What is the easiest way to roll out office 2003? I know from going to previous sites that sometimes there is an issue if it is installed from the network, becuase if that server is then gone and a feature needs to be added or something happens to office it causes an issue.

I'm reinstalling XP home, will this present any problems with Microsoft? When I first installed XP I was premitted to register online; will I be able to do the same on a reinstallation? Will I have any problems activating? Thanks.

I been running the Windows Updates and my free disk space has dropped from around 1.7gb to just over 600mb. I've noticed that the c:\download installations\ directory is over 700mb. Can this directory be deleted? What's its purpse?

After trying many thing to save my laptop, I am stuck in the middle of re-installing Windows XP Home. I am using a "Reinstallation CD" that came with my laptop. The last thing I tried to be before the re-installation was to make XP boot up in Safemode.

I've installed a PCI RAID controller card, based on the Silicon Image 680 chipset, on my ASUS P4S533-E motherboard. The controller is working properly. I can boot my XP on another disk and work with the RAID 0 array.
