Long back story, but after installing ATI's new 5.9 drivers my system went to

I installed xp on an existing hard drive.  the old program files are still in
tact, but xp does not list the files in the start menu.  is there any way to
pull these programs into xp?  i have reloaded some programs and they are
correctly installed. no other problems.

I am having trouble booting in normal mode on an XP Home installation. Old
hard drive, new computer, you know the drill.
