Modem is installed correctly, it is seen in phone and modem options in
control panel as SM56LE-SL V.92 Modem on COM3.  I can query the modem under
properties => diag => query and it responds just fine.  But when I go to the
Network Connections => New connections wizard => connect ...

I'm installing XP Pro and after the install finishes, it asks for user names.
I entered one user and hit "next."
Now I'm promted to select a user (the one I entered) and a password.
