I have just built a new system and installed my new copy of XP Pro - sp2. My problem is that the system wont boot unless the system disc is in the drive. I have changed the BIOS to tell it NOT TO LOOK AT THE CD ROM FIRST and I have even unpluged the CD ROm but to no avail.

XP SP2 Computer boots off Adaptec 2940UW. I needed to give another PC my adaptor in a hurry, and later, when I had one, installed a replacement 2940UW in its place (same PCI slot).
