Hi,
We have multi ple machines that uses HT processors, but we dont actually
have the ACPI installed for multiprocessing.
As we are still using a image thats been in use since like 2 years ago, that

Did latest XP Pro web update last week after 2 yrs running the PC w/o any
problems; always up-to-date with updates. After update applied, -reboot - PC
goes into dead-end restart-loop: WIN logo appears, (moving bar from left to

My system shuts down after 3 minutes with a message : Windows must now

(there is no disk in this drive.)

In a single computer, workgroup set up ( such as my computer at home! ) is
it really necessary for 'c:\' to be shared as 'C$' and for 'c:\windows' to
be shared as 'ADMIN$'?  There will be no remote access to this machine.

Trying to boot up wth the Windows XP Home Setup Floppys to get to the
Recovery Console.  I'm working on a Toshiba Satelite portable, using an
external USB floppy drive.  I am getting an error with Disk 1 (Boot Disk)
that says:

Our director has directed me to remove all of the games on our workstations.  
The only ones that would have been installed are from the XP install in the
first place.  Is their a group policy I can use to remove all of these games
so I don't have to spend the next couple months ...

I have all my programs on a 16 Gig Hard drive, which is full.  I also have an
additional 60 gig back up drive which is empty.  How do I change the order or
transfer the operating system from the 16 gig drive to the 60 gig drive and
still retain functional programs.
