Is there a way to remove the "Activate Windows" shortcut that is created in the Start Menu when new users login, aside from creating a custom default user profile? Something like the command for removing the OE shortcut, shmgrate.exe OCInstallHIdeOE?

I am trying to reformat my pc with the XP Home-edition disk that came with the PC. I have reformated a few times b4, however this time its telling me that my updated XP wont let me run the older disk. How can I over-ride or delete the updates of XP, so that my disk will work?

When I logon to my computer, the windows system32 folder automatically opens - any ideas why and how I can stop that from happening? Also, there appear to be tons of uninstall files in it - can those be safely deleted?
