I was forced to reinstall the OS on my computer.. Once i have reinstalled
the OS since then, when i move any windows it just scrolls and moves very
slowly..

OK, this is wierd, last night I posted in the XP "Configuration and
Management" newsgroup, today I can't find the newsgroup.  Oh well.
Repost - I have a Gateway 500S, P4, that suddenly went south.  It blue
screened several times then wouldn't boot up at all.  Used the Gateway OS ...

After virus infection I thought the best I could do is reinstall Windows.
I did have te product key on the machine so I started the setup.
Apparently I used the wrong CD so the wasn't the right one for this CD.
I can't boot the machine so I don't know for sure which XP version etc.

A used needs to get legal with a copy of w2k, which seems to have gone
from the shelves of my dealers.  (newegg had it a couple months ago.)
Can someone point me to someone with w2k kit for sale?

I re-installed xp using pc-angel v.30.  4 people use this computer.  All
accounts are password protected.  Pc angel stored the old files in the "my
old disk" directory (old accounts files and all).  No problems there.  All
the old account files are accessible trough windows explorer ...

We have about 50 Windows XP Pro SP2 workstations in production that have a

I am having problems attempting a clean install of XP home.
I was having a problem where my monitor would turn itself off when booting
