For years we have been using Ghost to clone machines. If we clone from one box to a different box then windows would need repairing and after that everything would be fine. About a year ago we started to use sysprep to reseal the machines

We are upgrading our PC'c from XP to XP Professional. After upgrade, when the computer boots up there is a screen where there are duplicate Windows XP Professionals to choose from. After 10 seconds it automatically choosese the default.

woul i run into any problems ...running an IBM compatible desktop machine with 256MB ram and 20GB HD and a Epox socket 462 board. ? Want all applications and devices running under Windows 2000 to run as they were under Windows XP.

I installed a new DVD-ROM and then recieved NTLDR missing message. From reading MS support it is a fault with fragmented NTLDR, OK, so I tried to load my floppy boot disk, which does not recognise the Boot.ini and won't load. Does anyone have any suggestions?

on xp/ntfs, by mistake, on hard drive first partition is d:, instead of c: [c: is not existing]. xp is installed on that d:\ disk management tool allows "drive letter change". is it safe just to change d: -> c: and expect os to be still bootable?
