I can install Window Me on my computer but i can not upgrade to window xp professional service pack 2. The message is: "Stop: 0x0000007A (....................)". I am also unable to install new window xp professional service pack 2 on already formated partition.

I'm installing a new SATA drive on my machine. I reinstall my windows XP upgrade (enter the old win ME, load the raid files) but when the system finishes the first part of theinstallation and reboots, it start the installation again (system ahrdware etc)

Just installed XP pro with SP2 on computer that originally had 98. Freezes on startup when the blue bar is going across under the logo. All variaties of safe mode work, however. I checked the device mangager but nothing seems to be having a problem.

Help? Windows Help and Support service doesn't work. In the Start Menu, it doesn't start at all. Task Manager shows the service running, but not as an application, then it just disappears.

My PC was configure to boot from Win98 or XP. I did this by installing WinXP after Win 98. I am able to select to boot from Win98 or XP. Win98 is in 'C drive' and WinXP is in 'D drive'. Both are separate disk drive. Now my 'C drive' has crash(dead, not acessable). I am not able ...
