I think this disk was slipstramed with SP2 but I do not know for sure. I don't know how to boot from the CD while keeping it from running Setup. Setup of course only offers options which write to my HD, I don't want to do that.

I am trying to use RIS with an Allied Telesyn Fibre card. We can PXE boot from the card and start the image. It freezes at the 'Setup is starting windows' screen just before it switches from PXE to SMB. I have integrated the AT drivers in to the base OS on RIS.

Hi. I bought a SONY VAIO RB52 and it stopped booting recently. I can bring up the boot option menu, but after I select "Safe Mode" or whatever, it gave me a black screen. Somebody said that was because of the bad memory.
