Hope someone might be able to help me out here.  I'm pxe booting a Windows
PE image over the network and then using ximage to deploy a wim file back to
the machine.  However, for some reason it just sits on 1% progress.

I bought a refurbished computer that came without an OS but with a licensing
key for XP Professional.  I called the company and they said that I must know
someone with the software to install and then I can put in my own key.  I
don't know anyone with the software.  Any ideas ...

Dell is sending me a new laptop to replace one with bad memory.  I'd rather
not have to re-install the OS and all my programs.  Can I just transplant the

I have a OEM licensed version of XP Pro on 1 computer and a licensed version
of Home on another computer (i bought this copy and installed it myself).
I would like to upgrade both computers to XP Pro Sp2.  How do I go about

Don't know why but my xp pro will not boot, not to last good config, or for a
repair install. I can reformat and re-install, but I have unbacked up, yes I

My system disk somehow ended up with the drive letter "J".  I want to change
it back to "C".  When I try this in Windows XPP disk management it won't
permit renaming system or boot drives. My boot disk (multiple boot system) is
drive "H".

I am working on learning an unattended install of XP.  I have it working
except it gets hung up on choosing the partition to install to.  I have to
choose the partition manually even though I have it set up to install
automatically.  The code that I am using is:
