I just installed XP Pro from a windows disk all was going well until it had trouble finding a file on the disk, the file was there a browsed to it, but i gave up and contiued without it. pc seems fine XP working OK. My questions are and there is two.

Trying to reinstall XP Pro (after software testing) - deleted my 40GB partition, booted from the CD, got "Setup is examining your hardware..." tehn the screen goes blank. That's it. This is the same CD I've used to install on the same hardware (no changes) before.
