Before I re-installed Windows XP Pro on my Laptop I wanted to save my files and setting from the laptop. I run the wizard on my laptop, writing the files to a sub-directory on a Windows 200 server on my network. Every thing ran ok without any errors.

Win XP boot option screen does give chanve to boot from CD, is there a way I csn set the boot to look to the CD first, then go to the hard drive?

I am getting the same message that the previous guy had - - only my status file is THERE. The location that you specified does not contain stored information. Please type a valid folder path into the edit box". HOW DO I GET MY DATA? Everything seems to be right.

I have XP Pro. I have loaded SP2. When I try to Shut Down the machine, it takes loooooong time to show the RESTART / SHUTDOWN / LOG OFF options and then again a looooog time to actually shutdown.

Is there a simple way to rename computers after they are imaged or during the imaging process? I can change the name one at a time after the image has been processed but if I want to roll out 50 machines in one day how can I rename them without touching all of them?
