I recently purchased a custom-built PC. When it arrived it had a 7 in 1 card reader with FDD instead of the 12 in 1 (no FDD) I required to read Xd cards. I have spoken to the manufacturer who tell me that the FDD is necessary to re-install XP see quote.

I have two comiled HTML help files in .chm format. When I click one it displays ok. When I select the other I get a list of the sections on the left side but the right side says Action canceled. Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested.

I am trying to install SP2. Far into the process, Windows pops up an window that says, simply, "Access Denied" and the installation fails. After I click OK to back it out, Windows reports that things may be broken. Any idea what this means and how to get around it?

I upgraded my Motherboard and Processor after which I couldn't start the system. I contacted the MB maufacturer they said its OS problem. My OS is: Windows-XP Home edition. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
