I had a PC crash on me.  I have the Windows 2000 CD and the Product ID for
that PC.  When I install Win2K and it asks me for the Product ID I enter it

Trying to remove a WindowsXP patch to resolve future update.  Looking in the
"Add or Remove" window, I only see about 12 applications install where it
should be listing about 30 applications.  How do I get the missing apps to

I am using a single xp sp2 image for deployment. Once in every 10 or 15
times this image is deployed (using ghost) to a machine I get the error
"Windows cannot find '/idlist,:528:620". Click ok and the message goes
away.

A new one to me!  I assisted a friend with a clean Win XP Home install.  
After the installation, two anomalies:
1. Upon completion of the installation, and now whenever he reboots the
computer, popup windows appear titled "Windows Message Server", advising him

In a nutshell: We have MS volume licensing, and Enterprise Ghost, 1400
users in one division and 3500+ in another.  For the 1400 users, we
have always built our images in house, and deployed, using GhostWalker

I just upgraded from XP Pro to XP Pro with SP2.  I had three hard drives that
were working fine before the upgrade.  After the upgrade I am unable to see
my third (80GB storage) drive in XP (My Computer).

It's telling me that the XP home I have on my PC is newer then the XP Pro I am
trying to load. What I Have is XP Pro 2002 and XP Home with service pack 2.
It say I can load it but will lose all my files. What should I do?

I have a number of laptops I need to riprep, the problem is they need
windows activation afterwards and so do subsequent ris'd laptops. I
have a volume license disk that I could use but i need the software

I'm trying to deploy WinXP Pro using RIS onto my SN85G4v2. I've got a
working RIS server and have deployed OSs to other machines, however
when attempting to run an installation on my shuttle I don't get very
far.
