My pc boots from WXP Pro CDROM, then after completing the text phase
when the yellow bar graph is at 51% the screen turns black and the PC is
shut itself down.  I restart the PC but it does not resume installation
and ntldr is missing is displayed.  Note that 1)the recovery CDROM ...

I cannot find anywhere that describes how to alter the way Paint works.
Specifically, I always want Paint to open with the center horizontally and
vertically un checked, as well as scaling, to fit 1 page of 1 page instead
of 100 percent of normal size.

After running sysprep (with switches -reseal -quiet -mini -pnp) on a Dell
gx520, I ghosted the PC.  Then I turned on the PC from which I just created
the image, it brought up the sysprep mini-wizard and both the keyboard and
mouse are frozen.

Hello, all.
Had a hard disk problem last night, and am now unable to boot from that disk.
So, after attempting several other recovery options, I successfully
installed WinXP on a new HD and then installed the problematic one as a

Hello, My sister gave me her computer that had come with XP Home, but she had
put XP Pro on.  She wanted to keep the XP Pro license for her new computer,
