Through the multi-license agreement between Microsoft and the school district
I work for, I want to load a copy of XP Pro to my Compaq computer. I have a

I did a new install of Windows XP Home Edition on a computer I built last
year.  I pressed F6 to install drivers.  I get through the entire install
seemingly okay, then when it restarts, the Windows XP screen appears for a
second then goes away and it reboots.  It keeps doing ...

Is there a single binary that bundles all security and bug patches so I
only have to click once to update everything in XP?
At this time it seems like I have to manually click each update for each
XP machine, and I see there are tens of security updates. When it's

When I ping the domain controller from a client machine, it only pings by
typing the ip address but does not ping while resloving the domain controller
name.
Also, when I do an 'nslookup' i get a response saying ' Can't find server

Is there a way to export a single registry value?
Using the reg command, I can do a "reg export", but that exports every
value in a specific key. I need to export a single value and cant seem
to figure out how!

Something called Client Services for Netware has disabled the Welcome Screen
and Fast User Switching. The message tells me I must uninstall Client
Services for Netware to get my Welcome Screen back.
I don't know what Client Services for Netware is... where to find it.... or

Here's my problem...
1) XP does not support dynamic disks.
Here's the scenario:
Moved a basic disk and dynamic disk from an old machine to a new machine.
