an error message appeared, saying that a dll file was missing and a program
couldn't start. So closed the message and restarted ...

I need to install xp professional on my machine, it's a
dual boot (windows 2000 and windows me). The original os
I had was windows me (c drive), I then installed w2k (f
drive), I used partition magic 6.0 to partition my disc.

I'd like to create an XP Pro installation that has the "Documents and
Settings" folder somewhere other than the C: drive.
I've read the MS KB articles on the topic, and I know that I can create
a winnt.sif file and include something like this:

I just got a new computer, turned it on and got the set up.  Apparently I did
something wrong at the "who will use this computer" screen because I am at
the "to begin click your user name" screen and there are no user names to
click.  I can't go forward because there are no user ...

Hi, I wish to use Norton Ghost to multicast the image created to all the
workstations. I've tried this only in Win 2000. In that case, all the
computers have to run sysprep to reseal all computers in order to get them
networked.

I have tryed to install win. XP home on my comp that was formerly ME it
worked before on this comp, only 4 some stupid reson (not even worth
mentioning) I was reinstalling Xp Clean install
So I go throught he setup, and about 10 times i get an error saying cannot

I posted about this some months back, but I still have some questions.
I have already preinstalled this wireless adapter in my XP Pro image, and
then I sysprep it. Once minisetup is done and when I do the first log in, the
system prompts me to install the wireless adapter again. ...

I have an older Compaq 12xl300 that I am going to upgrade hard drive in.  I'm

Is there somewhere in Gpedit that you can set "Empty temporary internet files
when browser is closed" to enabled?  It's under Advanced/Security in the IE
Options menu.
