built a new pc, and i'm trying to install windows full version xp on a new
formated harddrive and everytime i type in DOS setup.exe on the disk drive it
says it cannot install in DOS? where am i going wrong here? please help

Ive tried to reinstall XP home after formating my HD. Ive made the 6 MS bootd
disks for XP and i have a XP CD, which Ive instadelled from before and its
worked.
If i boot the computer with the first boot disk in the computer takes me

I realize there are a lot of things that can go wrong, but this is a new
Dell box, WinXP, and basically upgrades on processor, RAM etc.
My problem is that my modem (56K) which always worked fine with my former

Hi there, My PC failed to restart today and it comes up with the error

Windows. Shows 35 minutes remaining. The mouse is still active. The

Does it just use the rules in my inf files specified?  And does it not look

Just set up a 2003 Server with RIS. In my testing network, I am trying to
image Desktops and Laptops. Desktops are fine, but with the Laptop Image, it
has 2 Partitions, and from the Error I got when up loading the Image, RIS
does not support mutiple Partitions....
