My upgrade to XP Pro SP2 from XP home hangs at the fourth step, Installing Windows. Shows 35 minutes remaining. The mouse is still active. The propaganda window still changes. The activity lights along the bottom of the screen remain active.

If you leave the default for the command line ...\scanstate.exe ...\Migration /i:...\test.inf /i:...\sysfiles.inf /user:test /o /v:1 Does it just use the rules in my inf files specified? And does it not look at my other inf files in the directory of it?

Just set up a 2003 Server with RIS. In my testing network, I am trying to image Desktops and Laptops. Desktops are fine, but with the Laptop Image, it has 2 Partitions, and from the Error I got when up loading the Image, RIS does not support mutiple Partitions....
