I just installed windows xp pro, and thought the it would automatically
uninstall my previous version; it didn't.  Can anyone tell me how to take out
the old version?  Apparently there are some issues with have both installed.

I have an application which uses Windows API "URLDownloadToFile". It
seems that "URLDownloadToFile" depends on Internet Explorer, and
Windows PE does not support Internet Explorer. Then my application can
not run on Windows PE.
