I wanto to make a clean windows instalation on a pc with no internal drives
(only HD)
There are no drives because I got the idea that I could use a external usb
optical drive to install the windows.

Having finally been forced to upgrade to XP +SP2 from W2K because a bit of
kit demanded it I was pleasantly surprised by the smoothness UNTIL I tried
activating.
The machine doesn't actually hang but it doesn't get anywhere, lots of disk

I'm planning to create some OSD images for multiple systems. For each
type of HAL I create an image, which should work.
I'm looking for known issues or a detailed sysprep.inf. I'm also
planning to include all drivers for all the systems. Are there some

I have run a RIS server for a long time and like the fact that I only
have to do 2 minutes of setup in the beginning in the mini-boot and
then can walk away while it installs the OS/patches/Applications and
configs.

I have 2 HDD (160GB Sata and 40GB IDE), could you please help me with what

A friend of mine has upgraded his Windows XP Home machine with a Windows
XP Pro disc thinking it was ok to put XP Pro on this mahine. The XP Pro
disk he used is from another PC they have at home, and cannot use the
same License key twice.
