I have a problem with resizing my C: partition containing my windowsXP. The C: partition is NTFS. I could not enlarge its size using Partition Magic 6.0, even if there is an unallocated space adjacent to it. Is this a common problem with resizing NTFS using PMagic 6.0?

I have a genuine copy of Windows XP. It has passed the validations many times during previous Windows updates. However, there is currently an update on my PC at the moment and each time I run it, it locks up half way through and I have to re-boot my PC.
