Can not Resize NTFS Partition Which Contains WinXP14 Jun 2006 11:02 GMT2
I have a problem with resizing my C: partition containing my windowsXP.
The C: partition is NTFS. I could not enlarge its size using Partition
Magic 6.0, even if there is an unallocated space adjacent to it. Is
this a common problem with resizing NTFS using PMagic 6.0?

I have been having fits trying to install Microsoft Windows Installer
3.1 after an upgrade and some people have had success by fixing corrupt
administrator privileges.
In User profiles, I don't see how to examine this.  I assume that one

I have upgraded a 2nd hand windows 2000 pc (that had no passwords on) to XP
and I now have a machine asking for the administrator password.

I have a genuine copy of Windows XP.  It has passed the validations many
times during previous Windows updates.  However, there is currently an update
on my PC at the moment and each time I run it, it locks up half way through
and I have to re-boot my PC.
