I have a laptop running XP Home. I want to install another copy of XP Home on the laptop for gaming--my laptop has all this stuff running in the background that affects performance and it would be nice to having a clean install of Windows for this purpose.

I'm building an image to be used across 50 identical laptops. I've installed all the required software/applications while logged into the image computer as Admin. However, when I log in as a user very few of these applications are available to the user.

I'm using a slipstreamed version of Windows XP Professional SP2 and when I boot from CD, there's no R option available to perform a repair install. If I use the original Windows XP cd-rom with no service packs on it, there's a Repair option available.

I'm trying to join a worksation into a domain but the Network ID tab is greyed out in My Computer> Properties> Computer Name. I tried changing the Local Security Policies to allow the change, but it was still greyed out, even after the change.
