I installed WinXP on my Win2K Pro laptop.  I had the computer on, and running
on my profile when I inserted the insall disk.  I chose the upgrade option,
as my installation fit the requirements.

Going to windows directory / system 32 /  restore and starting rstrui file
nothing is shown on the screen just blank system restore on top of the

I just installed IE 7.0 and after I re-booted, for some reason, I no longer
have my taskbar and start menu.  I have gone into the control panel to try to
activate it but when I launch that icon, nothing happens.  Does anyone have
any idea how I can restore this?
