When attempting to install "MSXML" using the MSXML 4.0 SP2 Parser & SDK setup
wizard I receive the following - An error occured during the installation of

Somehow, the login I've been using for the past year was deleted from my XP
Pro laptop. The user folder and all the settings are still there, but there
is no login associated with it.
How can I either:

I understand that I cannot create a new partition with Windows XP without
destroying what I already have in place or without purchasing 3rd party
software.  This is my scenario ... My system came with everything
preinstalled, one hd, and one basic/primary partition for everything ...

How do I change the size and/or location of windows/programs so that when I
open them they are where I want and the size I want?  (Do I have to hit
"maximize" or manually shrink/move everytime?)

Up to now after the windows Logo appeared the screen changed to black and

A friends Compaq EVO computer had a bad hard drive.  The computer was running
XP Home. Replaced the drive with a used one, and used the friends Compaq
restore CD to reinstall the OS.  It did a complete format and then installed
(Horrors) ME !! I found the proper XP Home OEM and ...

I have a laptop with XP Pro at work.  When you boot into the Bios, I am able
to re-image the hard drive back to day one with all the company stuff on it.  
I have since added a bunch of stuff and would like to update that image.  Is

Can someone please help me ? When I try to download it,a pop-up says that an
internal error occured.It tells me to go to directx.log file , and so I did.

Have an OEM version of XP with SR-1 on disc. Came with motherboard, HD and
other parts of PC I built myself. I want to format and reinstall XP because
my system is running slowly -- my registry must be pretty clogged after
almost 3 years of fiddling around.
