I'm trying to install Retail XP Pro with Service pack 2 as a "New Install"
rather than an upgrade. It seems to go through about 10-15 minutes of install

When I do an Advanced Find in Outlook email, the fields displayed aren't what
I want.  So I have to customize the current view.  Is there a way to save
this new current view so it becomes my default view in the Advanced Find
dialog box?

I have a serious problem with my PC.
I had to format my disk and reinstall Windows XP (with SP2), but I can not
get to in web because Windows thinks that my network card is of Asound, but
its of Realtek.

I have a DELL laptop which has a Windows XP Pro Product key on the bottom of
it (The official Microsoft OEM Sticker)
I want to install a clean copy of Windows on it, instead of using the
restore CD which includes a load of junk I am not interested in..

My son has given me his laptop with windowsxp installed and I have

My file names are being underlined on the desktop and when displaying
folders.  I can't remember how I turned this feature on.  I can't find out

I'm trying to install XP Sp1 on a 250GB drive and keep getting a page fault
in partmgr.sys at the very beginning of setup, after it loads basic drivers
and goes into "starting windows setup". This message is given on a blue stop
error screen. I've been told XP Sp1 doesn't support ...

Under "My Computer", I have several drives and two document files. There is
no "change file name" in the left hand menu, so how do I change the document

I have a laptop running XP Pro with a completely valid key (on the sticker
on the bottom of the computer).  However, I can't find the original CD, and I
want to completely re-install.  Can I use a different CD in combination with
the laptop's original Product Key?

How can I set up my Windows XP so that my documents are on the D: drive while
