Im using Windows XP media center edition, about 6 months now? newest updates
installed
its always seemed that the disk light blinks once per second if its idle,
and that seems unnecessary if the system is idle

My system is requesting a activation for Windows XP before acess to the user
accounts (after a repair installation).
But the activation window remains empty.
The window is named "windows activation (No response)"

It seems since I downloaded the sp2 that my monitor dimentions are not
correct and I cannot see my lower toolbar, start function and my scrolling is
delayed.  Any suggestions

My (bootable) C drive is partitioned into C, E and F. I also have a D
drive for data. Although my computer works fine, I notice in Disk
Management that my C drive is marked "system" and my D drive "active".
The toggle active partition command is greyed out.

At work, someone tried to install windows xp on my pc. It failed but now when
I try to boot the pc, I have to push f8 and chose the operating system. If I
do not, it wants the cd installed to complete the change. How do I get rid of
the part of the xp install?
