Here is my problem. Through school, I get to use XP pro, through msdn. I installed the CD onto my desktop, sort of as a test -- because I didn't want to wipe out my laptop's harddrive in case it didn't activate properly.

I just finished re-installing my copy of WinXP. After logging in as Administrator, I get a message about activating my copy. After pressing "Yes", the system logs me off (the same when I press "No"). What is happening?

WHen I start my pc it detects 2 windows xp versions on my pc. I always have to select the bottom one to start. How do I get rid of the one that doesnt work so I dont have to choose one version?
