I am attempting to reload XP Home on a new disk 120 gig Western Digital following a hard disk failure. The XP version is 2002 (an early issue). At first attempt have received the blue shutdown screen 'to prevent damage' as it was about to format the disk.

BlankI have been attempting to set up a dual boot without luck. WME on first partition. Copy of WME on second partition and this is the one I'd like to upgrade with XP. Or either if I can get it to work.

I have installed the SP3 English on a Windows XP. Now the Network Perofrmance is very, very slow. For a 2,5MB file it takes about 3Min to copy from a Windows 2003 server. Thanks for any advise
