I am doing a reinstall of my XP system, but the istallation fails when it
shall copy files to the disk fromthe E:\i386 folder on the CD. I can copy
from the cd manally(Shift F10). And I have made a copy of the i386 folder on
C:\.

desktop.  All of these come with recovery disks.  For each brand and model
it does not matter if I use Joe's Dell disks on Sally's Dell computer nor
