Decisions: Server O/S and CAL options31 Aug 2008 10:19 GMT2
Hi everyone, I want an O/S for a school, and was originally thinking
WinServer2003, but in researching I was reminded of Win Small Business
Server. Which would be better? We're going to start with 1 server appliance,
we'll use RAID for redundancy, coupled with frequent, scheduled ...

change product key code?28 Aug 2008 14:29 GMT2
My PC crashed, with it the restore partition as well.
So I put in a new drive, and use a retail winXP to install. At first I enter
the product key code from the sticker on the PC, but it won't accept, so I
have to use the product key code from the retail winXP itself.
Required Startup Programs28 Aug 2008 03:00 GMT3

Unable to boot--even in Safe Mode28 Aug 2008 02:08 GMT2
I'm unable to boot my desktop--even in Safe Mode.  The boot process starts,
but then hangs at the standard XP window where you normally see your user
account icons.  Only problem is, no accounts are displayed and there's no
option to turn off the PC.  The only thing on the screen ...
Trying To Recover XP Environment27 Aug 2008 14:16 GMT3
One of my sister's business computers (XP Pro SP2) crashed and burned on
Friday.  Literally!  The power supply went up in smoke, and the motherboard
was ruined.  This was an old Dell that is way out of warranty.  I pulled the
drive and put it in one of my machines and got a ...

Replace windows vista with XP Pro27 Aug 2008 08:06 GMT2
Last year I purchased a Gateway GT5453E computer, which came with Windows
Vista Home Premium installed.  I find Vista to be slow and unstable, it
freezes almost every other time I use it, very often when I attempt to use
the picture viewer (nothing fancy, just viewing photos!).  ...

MDT and missing nvraidco.dll26 Aug 2008 19:44 GMT1
I've been looking all over the net so far to find the solution to this
probably basic problem. An oem version of XP has been added to the OS
distribution point and a task created to install XP.
What I don't understand is that during the setup stage it will tell me

I just replaced my older desktop with one that has Vista and offered the

I told my sister she needs to buy a new copy of XP (hoping eBay has some New ...
