I've downloaded the .exe file but when I tried to extract/execute it, it
keeps saying I already have the application installed hence cannot install

Hello everyone.  I have been working on formatting and reinstalling my
computer all day. Im trying to run my Dell XP Home restore cd in order to
keep from buying a second license.  Everytime I boot to the cd it acts like
it is installing then gives an ERROR of ASPI.SYS ...

I found it.  I went in under the Policies and then system and changed
everything to zero and it reappeared.  Thanks so much for your help.  Donna

I have done a sysprep on WIN XP SP2 and after sysprep starts, it asks
me for the Key, and other stuff and than when it is finishing and Says
"Saves Settings" it just sits there...does not move.
Any idea what the problem may be?

Is there any way from stopping sysprep from assigning a drive letter  to
partition that do not have one after the –reseal option?
