when I choose Run from the Start menu, and type in "regedit" ( without the
quotes ) I get the following pop-up message:

Hi, my question is as follows.
I wish to lock the taskbar at the bottom of the screen so that no one else
can move it even if they take the tick off.
Can it be done and if so how?

Since I changed my desktop resolution from 800 x 600 to 1024 x 768, the icons
in my taskbar have become almost too small for these old eyes.  I've managed

My cd rom driver doesn't seem to be working lately.  I can't open the drive
at all and after a while the red light comes on, then my system freezes. I
checked the system error log and found the following:
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\CdRom0

The machine in question is in an unsupervised, Kiosk type environement. The
computer is a stand-alone XP pro. It reboots itself once a day. The OS
automatically logs on a user with limited permissions after each reboot. I
have put a shortcut of the application in the Startup ...

I did alot of the training for it, and adjusted the mic, but how do I get it
to type when I talk into it?
And for the text to speech, when I type somewhere how do I get it to say

Not sure how this has happened, but I type an address into the Address Bar on
Explore, hit the GO button or ENTER and nothing--it comes up highlighted in
blue but that's it.
Google button is working fine so I can get to an address using that. Also

In Device Manager,under System Devices, I find 15 different entries listed as
"NO drivers installed". Under the Driver tab, on the Driver Details button it
says "No driver files are required or have been loaded for this device".

When I double click My Computer on the desktop or in the startup area, it
takes about a minute to show its contents.  All other folder options are
immediate.  
Also, when I click on Send To it takes about a half minute to display options.

Funny, I have many computers around with only ONE cpu but XP task manager
shows 2 CPUs and 2 graphical CPU usage.  I've seen this bug on so many
systems running WinXP SP2 since I've noticed.

Every time I try to shut down my PC I get the following error message:

My Win XP SP2 machine goes strait to the page tat says there was a problem
and gives you  the option too boot in safe ode or the last known good boot
etc. If I choose the normal boot up here it goes to the page with the XP logo
and the blue (night rider) bar but gets no further. ...

For some reason all my files now have appeared with a .LNK after and wont
open.  Send me to a find link on web page and then cant find.  i dont know
how this happened
