Hi.  My PC is doing an automatic shutdown after I installed a new copy of
McAfee Internet Security 2006.  I get the following message immediately after
login:

Ever since I got my ipod a few days ago I have been having to install and
uninstall itunes and quicktime over and over again in my WindowXP. I finally
got them both to work properly yesterday and I even decided to "clean out"
some unnecessary programs I had installed such as MSN ...

Lately, everytime I try to log-on to some sites, especially AT&T boards, IE

I tried re-installing it, sfc /scannow, and ran CHKDSK from My Computer, but

Which all around utility program do you recommend? I need the usual,
Defrag, registry repair and clean, Check for Windows problems etc. I
don't need virus or Spywear, I am happy with what I have.

Even though I'm still not convinced of the value, after much study and prep I
decided to install SP2.  I followed all suggestions for a successful install.
Downloaded all current updates to SP1, disabled McAfee virus and firewall,
and ZeroSpyware spyware programs even removed ...

While trying to delet Trojan.Anserin deleted "explorer.exe" everything still

In the win 98 there was a option to stop win from scanning hardisk.
For no reason, my computer always scans hardisk whenever I boot. It is
really annoying that I have to wait it for a long time if I don't push ESC in
time. How can I turn it off??
