Another frustration!!   I recorded the Swans v Geelong prelim final to a DVD
using my recently installed LG DVD recorder.  I then took the disc produced

program, but I can't change my background color or add a favorite

When I log onto my account (Windows XP Home), I see the Explorer bar at the
bottom appear and disappear within half a second.  I am now on a different
computer asking for help.  I have tried to manually start explorer.exe
through the Task Manager but the same thing ...

I am trying to run the workstation setup for a network based program on a new
computer.  I am getting a message that setup has detected that an uninstall
shield is in use.  Please close the uninstall shield and restart setup.

ok. on startup windows wants to install the fax software. it gives me
the option of where to locate the software. i don't have an xp cd so
where on my hard drive might i find it. it even does this if i try to
install it in cont pan. windows programs. other problem is my dvd drive

I activated my uncle's laptop last year and wrote down the information
for him at the time.  I've been twice to my uncle's house and we've
searched for info., but haven't been able to find where he put it <g>.

On install attempt was given message to install missing 'kuser.dll'
Contacted Turtle Beach tech support and they state that
"The kuser.dll is a Windows system file that should be located here:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KSUSER.DLL

On my IBM Thinkpad R40, I let my Windows XP Pro go into hibernation
last night. Now, I'm unable to boot anymore. This is what happens when
I turn it on:
1. Shows IBM Thinkpad splash screen

I am running windowsXP with SP2 and just recently I have not been able to
lock the tool bars.  I click beside 'lock tool bars' but after I have been on
the computer for a while or sometimes when I first start it up my tool bars
are missing.  They are still listed in the drop down ...

I am trying to re-install System Restore on my XP Home Edition.
I have located the sr inf file but when I press Install get the following

by a mistake,  removed my revovery partition by using the safe to
remove icon down on the right side of the screen.
i managed to unhide the partition again, but this time with a different
letter..

When I first turn on the computer and the screen shows up with user names,
sometimes it displays "10 unread email messages". how do i get rid of this?

Few days ago I've installed xp pro ( without SP1,2...) on new
computer ( nForce4-4x + sata samsung 160gb + 20gb pata maxtor).
The pata hdd has 3 fat32 partitions and it's connected as master
on 1st ide channel.
